With the Personal Data Protection Law, which was accepted and enacted by the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly on 24 March 2016 and entered into force by being published in the Official Gazette dated 7 April 2016 and numbered 29677, it is aimed to prevent the the unlimited and indiscriminate collection of personal data, access to unauthorized persons, disclosure or misuse of personal data. This law, which aims to protect fundamental rights and freedoms, basically aims to protect individuals and prevent negative situations that may be caused by indiscriminate collection and transfer of data.
