Ankara University Accelerator Technologies Institute Director Professor İlkay TÜRK ÇAKIR was invited as an invited speaker to the “International School on Physics & Allied Disciplines” held at the National Center for Physics (NCP) in Pakistan between 13-17 March 2023.
Professor İlkay TÜRK ÇAKIR gave an invited speech titled “Future Circular Collider” at the relevant school and also taught the course titled “Introduction Accelerators, their Applications and Colliders Parameters“. During school, she also served as hall president and on the poster evaluation committee.
NCP; It is a multi-purpose center that continues its work under three different headings: Theoretical Physics, Experimental High Energy Physics and Experimental Physics. During school, various laboratories in the research center were visited and information was obtained. In addition, meetings were held with Dr. Ishaq Ahmed (Director of the National Center for Physics Center of Excellence in Physics (NCP CoE Physics)) and his team, then it was decided to take initiatives to conduct scientific studies between Ankara University and National Center Physics.
