TÜBİTAK Basic Sciences Research Institute continues to increase its efforts to produce a wide range of qualified information in various branches of basic science and interdisciplinary fields, to carry out scientific activities at the international level and to bring scientific competitiveness to Turkey. In this context, an International Summer School on “Theoretical Particle Physics” will be held at the Institute between 05-14 July 2024.
The aim of the school is to provide the necessary theoretical background regarding high energy physics to students who want to do postgraduate studies in high energy physics, who are working in this field, and who want to go to CERN and similar research centers. In the courses basic theoretical information will be given on Special Relativity, Quantum Mechanics, Quantum Field Theory, Quantum Electrodynamics, Group Theory, Standard Model and Beyond Standard Model to be given by instructors working at various universities from domestic and international.
